Electromechanical boom barrier in lengths from 3–7 meters. Two booms can be combined in a master–slave arrangement for use at extra wide entrances.
The boom has a robust structure made of steel, with balancing springs designed to last for up to a million opening and closing operations. The boom is wind resistant.
The boom control system has sophisticated electronics for obstacle detection. The control system is also equipped with a diagnostic system – in case of failure, the relevant error will be shown on a display.
Optional battery backup allows for continued operation during power failure. The batteries may also be connected to a solar panel in cases where there is no regular power supply.
The boom can be mechanically released with a key.
