The Swedish and Northern European markets have a number of manufacturers of gates, but only ABAS Protect develops and manufactures gates especially adapted to Northern European climatic conditions.
ABAS Protect is conducting a systematic in-house development, encompassing all stages from concept to finished product. Product ideas are created from requirements and preferences, and then realized into concepts, which are further developed into solution principles in a detailed construction phase.
We use modern construction aides for modelling and analysis. All mechanical parts are solid modelled. Both static and dynamic loads are determined, and FEM and/or structural calculations are performed on all exposed parts.
Prototypes are built and tested under realistic conditions in a Swedish climate of rain, moisture and cold, in sharp contrast to Middle and South European conditions. In Nordic climatic conditions, products demand a much higher endurance with respect to corrosion, density etc.
In brief: a gate from ABAS Protect is a quality product that can be trusted in all weathers.
